About

We built the personal OS we wanted to use.

Most productivity apps store more lists. Mini Me OS connects the lists you already have and quietly answers: which one is the right one to do next?

Why we built it

Every productivity tool we tried was a great place to put things in, and a bad place to find direction out of. Tasks went in. Projects went in. Goals went in. Routines went in. Then the day arrived and we still had to decide which one of those was the right one to start with.

Mini Me OS does that deciding. The same scoring function ranks every open task on priority, deadline, energy, the goal it serves and the time you actually have. Today opens with one primary recommendation and a one-line reason. The rest of the screen quietly surfaces what is stuck, what is lonely, and what can wait.

What we believe

  • Your direction is the product. Software should compress the work between knowing and doing — not pretend to know for you.
  • Connected beats listed. A task linked to a goal that is linked to a project is worth more than three lists that ignore each other.
  • Calm beats clever. One clear recommendation is worth more than nine clever filters.
  • Honest prices. No fake scarcity, no countdown timers, no "limited spots." When billing goes live we will say so plainly, and the Free plan stays Free.
  • Your data is yours. Export it any time as JSON. Delete the account for real — every row, then the auth user itself.

How AI shows up here

Three places, all opt-in. Smart add splits one sentence into structured items. Break into steps proposes 3 to 6 sub-tasks. Explain today's plan writes a short paragraph about your day. Each one shows a preview and only saves what you confirm. When the AI is unavailable a rule-based fallback runs locally so the buttons never break.

We use Google's Gemini API and only send the specific text you submit — never your full task list, your email, or your calendar contents. The AI disclosure is the boring detail.

What we will not do

  • We will not let Mini Me create or modify items in your account without you confirming the preview.
  • We will not write to your inbox, calendar or any other connected account. The Email module (Max-tier, opt-in) reads Gmail subjects + senders only; Calendar Sync reads a private iCal URL. No reply, no archive, no event creation, ever.
  • We will not sell or rent your data, or use it to train shared models.
  • We will not invent testimonials, customer counts or case studies.
  • We will not raise the price you signed up at, ever.
  • We will not bury cancellation or account deletion behind support tickets.

Where we are

Mini Me OS is built and maintained by a small, founder-led team. We do not pretend otherwise. If you write through the contact form, you are writing to the people who shipped the feature. Replies come from a real human.

The short version

We are trying to make planning feel less like maintenance and more like a calm desk where one card on top of the page tells you what to start with — and the rest of the screen quietly takes care of itself.
